At one point, my “music” tastes were simple (mostly to avoid risking the little arseholes I went to school with finding something else to pick on me for)......... if it wasn’t a car engine noise, such as the V12 bolted to Ferrari’s 1995 spec. F1 car, I wasn’t interested.

Then come 6th form at school (1995/96) I started listening to stuff on Radio1, which also happened to be the start of a good patch for new music becoming available over the following 5yrs or so: Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene, The Seahorses, The Verve, The Corrs, Natalie Imbruglia, Robbie Williams, Alanis Morissette, The Beautiful South, Catatonia, Feeder + much more.
